As a highlight of the Coastie Kids Summer Festival, this event is your chance to explore Kaitiakitanga — the Māori value of caring for the land and sea — while making lasting memories with your family. Work together to protect our beaches, keep our oceans clean, and have fun while making a real difference.
How to Take Part 🧹
Getting involved is easy:
Collect rubbish – grab a bag and tidy up your local beach.
Snap a photo – show off your mahi and the difference you’ve made.
Submit online – share your good work with us!
You can submit one photo per day, so every bit of care counts. Every bag makes a difference!
